X-Men get Frozen

Hey people! Let me tell you a story...

"Once upon a time there was a fashion illustrator named Obinna who lived in Lagos, Nigeria. He had a lot of nephews but he spent most time with two in particular; Ani & Akan. The boys loved to play and draw with their uncle but attimes he had to do some serious work and he sent them off to play with each other, which made them unhappy.

One day while trying to keep them busy so that he could sketch out some illustrations he played them a dvd about enchanted royal sisters and since then they were never unhappy when their uncle had to work again. In no time the boys learnt to sing 'Let It Go'; a soundtrack off the animation and everyone lived happily ever after..."

Since I get a lot of ideas off cartoons and translate them into other things I thought 'what if Marvel's X-Men starred in Disney's Frozen?' Well I guess this is what they would look like...

Iceman (Bobby Drake) as Kristoff
The White Queen (Emma Frost) as Queen Elsa
Gambit (Remy Lebeau) as Prince Hans
Rogue (Anna Marie) as Princess Anna

So let me know what was your favourite childhood cartoon character and I just might restyle them!

Have a lovely weekend.
Stay Haute,
Sir Binna.

Farewell Joan Rivers

Hey people!

Its good to be here again although this time its on a sad note. On thursday the 4th of September, the good people of the E! Fashion Police show broke the news of the death of the chief host, Joan Rivers.  I'm rarely phased by the death of celebrity personalities but Joan's passing really got to me, maybe its the love & humor of fashion we share. I'll miss you as my weekly dose of Fashion Police. You are irreplaceable! Farewell Joan! ♡♡♡

I would like to use this opportunity to really appreciate all of you (family, friends and readers alike) for taking out time to read, comment and share. I would also like to charge you to take your life's bull by the horns and truly LIVE enjoying what you do and ready to stand by the consequences of your decisions like Joan did! Here's an illustration I did in respect to the style icon.

As for me I ThankGod for helping me survive NYSC orientation camp! I got to meet a variety of interesting people too. Although at times it could be stressful and annoying, most times its actually fun. Anyways I hope to resume work soonest (fingers crossed) and really start adventuring around town so wish me luck!!

Stay Haute,
Sir Binna.
