MAXIVIVE presents 'ITELE'

Fashion doesn't have to be limited to expensive designer brands, left-of- the-mainstream labels or even trendy statements. A flair for putting together and pulling off the most sleek and basic styles denotes a penchant for functionality, simplicity and class. Understated sophistication is always over looked, especially today when people generally favour flashy prints and loud colours. Trends may slip on and off the style radar but the most essential pieces should always be present in your wardrobe. And this is where Maxivive makes its mark as one of the most innovative brands in Africa.

Thinking about... All Black Err'thang!

Black is not 'BAD'! Although it is usually associated with 'evil' it is a colour as good as the rest. So I got bored and had a mini shoot a while back with blogger/photographer, Mide Coker of Mode Juridique but these cool pictures were taken by Olu Timehin Photography. And no, we are not professional models despite our ghen ghen poses! lol

Thinking about... Day to Night!!

Hey people, how are you doing? This is me welcoming you to the new month with a little something for the man'dem (pardon my jamaican though). lol

Its that season of the year in Nigeria when the days are hot and the nights are chilly cold. So i put a little something together with the help of my friends Rob & Anthony to give style tips to the blokes.

Welcome to Fenix Inkorporated!!!

Hello y'all. I'm baaack. I took some time off the blog scene (& a whole lot of other scenes) to refocus. I'm so excited about reopening my blog formerly known as The Fantom Diaries, and now as Fenix Inkorporated. And what better way to reopen than to write an introductory post (which i shoulda written when i first started blogging anyways). Oh well, here goes...

My love for art began with a kindergarten assignment my father taught me to do. From then on arts and crafts were my favourite subjects. Growing up in a very large family, i easily escaped into my own imaginative worlds of superheroes which helped to increase my curiousity into comics and how they were made. My sis gave me my first set of professional color pencils before the age of 11, and needless to say, i fell head over heels in love with them and began churning out my wacky versions of the cartoon shows i watched. In a short while the creativity flowed into my dress sense, which got me 'revamping' my clothes when i got bored with them.
