#MTNLFDW2012 Day 2: The Runway Runthrough

Hey people!
It has been exciting & inspiring (though exhausting too) working the backstage of the runway shows! Here are some amazing looks & my favourite picks from the awesome designers...

Ejiro Amos Tafiri

Great pieces we see this season from Ejiro in her staple styles of lovely sheer prints, drapery & jewelled detailing!

Beatrice Black

Designer Beatrice Black dishes out nice outfits in vivid colours! Gotta love the electric blue skirt & the floral pieces!

Kinabuti

Kinabuti puts on amazing show, setting the mood with a well choreographed presentation for a very tribal collection! It is indeed ready to wear & targets young fashionistas.

House of Marie

The House of Marie collection gives off a vintage feel through its details of frills, lace, ankara & die prints! I definetly love the layered side panels on some pieces too!

Rebahia

The Rebahia woman seems to look very matured this season in stripes. The designer; Orire definetly knows how to put the lines in the right places!

Kola Kuddus

I'm liking the Kola Kuddus man. The designer, Kola puts his own spin on men's colour blocking by having a variety of colours on his print! The pieces may not look exciting uplcose but they'd give awesome pictures.

House of Form and Function

Here, the designers of House of Form and Function used a variety of prints to outline their pieces to give a structured & refined look which would be very appealing to matured and stylish men.

Republic of Foreigner

I have only one phrase for the Republic of Foreigner collection; "BEAUTIFUL SAFARI CHIC"

Obsidian

The Obsidian woman shines in colourful silk, sequins, lace finishings and strategically placed hands!! ;)

Anita Quansah

There's nothing like a good dose of Anita Quansah jewellery & accessories on the runway!! Breathtaking!

Mai Atafo

Designer, Ohimai Atafo proves his genius once again transporting the audience into a dream wedding with his alluring blue & pink themed outfits!!

Ituen Basi

Ituen Basi closes the show in grand style as the 'talk of the town' in newspaper print! We also see some multicolour ruffle jackets, lace pieces and sleek dresses with interesting neckpieces!! Wowzer!
